Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and SayKos Software LLC ("SayKos Software LLC", "we", "us") for the use of MyFamBud. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use MyFamBud.

1. The service

MyFamBud is a personal and family budgeting tool that helps you track income, expenses, accounts, and net worth. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract to use MyFamBud. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Please notify us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use MyFamBud for anything illegal.
• Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the service except where the law allows.

4. Intellectual property

MyFamBud, including its software, design, logos, and content, is owned by SayKos Software LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

5. Subscriptions, billing, cancellation, and refunds

MyFamBud offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan. Pro costs $4.00 per month or $40.00 per year (USD). If you choose Pro:

• Pro is billed monthly or yearly through our payment processor, Stripe, at the price shown above. Prices may change in the future; if and when a change would apply to your subscription, we will notify you before it takes effect.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• Cancellation: you can cancel anytime from Settings. Your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again after that.
• Refunds: subscription fees that have already been charged are non-refundable. Cancelling stops all future charges but does not refund the current billing period, and we do not provide prorated credits for the unused part of a period, except where required by law.
• Payments are processed by Stripe and may also be subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy.

6. Not financial advice

MyFamBud is a tool to help you organize your money. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Decisions you make based on the app are your own.

7. Service availability

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

MyFamBud is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SayKos Software LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.

9. Termination

You can stop using MyFamBud and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or to protect the service and its users.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
